The firehouse has been a focal point of the neighborhood for 150 yeas. Today, as a community art studio, it continues in the tradition of openness and accessibility to the children and families of the neighborhood.

The Firehouse is one of the most charmingly and unique event spaces in Chicago. Not only are we the oldest firehouse in Chicago, we are one of the largest vintage fire stations still standing, with two galleys, and plenty of space to comfortably accommodate everyone you hope to bring together.
