Come check out the Firehouse during our

OPEN CLAY NIGHTS!

Every week we host at least one Open Art Night where neighbors cane come do art with us without needing to register or sign up for any classes. The Open Art Nights are free* and open to everyone!

*Note about our FREE classes and events

All of us at the Firehouse are mission driven to make art program opportunities available to everyone in our community, particular to those who might not otherwise  have the financial ability to participate in such programs. For many of these programs, particularly those involving specialty instructors or unique materials, the cost to organize them can be high and we offer (voluntary) opportunities for financially able participants to make small donations to help cover the costs.

We offer introductory ceramic classes for all age groups with flexible schedules and lots of open studio time.

We also offer private classes as well as workshops that we can incorporate into private events at the Firehouse as well as other locations.

Glass Blowing

JSA07781.JPG

Glass blowing at the Firehouse is one of the most common things w're asked about. Currently, the Firehouse does not host glass blowing, at least not like it used to.

On occasion, however we still host small scale glass blowing events, most notably ornament blowing during the holiday season!

Large scale glass blowing is no longer a part of our program, but if you're still interested, fear not!  It's not gone, just moved!

Our friend's and former glass blowing instructors have an amazing studio called:

Firing Clay in our Kilns

Its amazing what a couple thousand degrees can do to a lump of clay.

We're grateful to have  the equipment we do and we're happy to share it.

If you are looking for kiln space for a school, community program, or even yourself, let us know and we'll see if we can help!
